Indian Safari

India is a very different part of the world from Africa, so don’t visit expecting the same experience as you would get there. The wildlife itself is very different, but make sure you keep an eye out for spotted dear, sloth bears, the rare Indian rhino, or even the Asiatic Lions, the Indian tiger and the Asian Leopard, along with thousands of species of birds.
Visiting the National Parks can be a wonderful experience, but they can become a little busy and the wildlife is sometimes more sparse… However, this can make things rather more exciting on your safari when you track tigers by elephant-back! Travelling through the National Parks, the jungles in search of tigers is a magical experience, you may find yourself at a secluded waterfall – be sure to take a camera to help you keep these memories!
In most areas offering elephant-back safaris the service remains exceptionally high, but beware, outside of the larger towns, things can be a lot more basic, so be prepared for the unexpected. Be careful to secure your valuables and make sure that you only drink bottled water. We also suggest that you’re careful when it comes to eating ‘street food’.
