Immunisations for a safari holiday
Posted on November 30, 2015 at 12:14 am
If you are considering booking a safari holiday to South Africa then you will need to find out what immunisations you require. Courses or boosters required for going to South Africa include diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, and hepatitis A. This is particularly important if you are going out in to the bush or on a safari trip. Vaccines are sometimes advised for tuberculosis or hepatitis B although this is not always the case.
Checking with your nurse or doctor well in advance of travel is advised as you may not be allowed to enter the country should you not follow any information you have been given. Not only that, but if you do travel and contract an illness you may find that you are not covered by your travel insurance.
Malaria is a concern for many tourists wishing to visit Africa, you may be offered a course of tablets to be taken prior to your safari trip and for up to four weeks after your return.

What to review on a safari
Posted on November 1, 2015 at 12:07 am
When writing a review for a safari holiday, you should consider what will be useful to other people reading it. Consider what you would have liked to have known about the safari trip and make sure that you are always truthful but fair.
If the holiday was a package holiday that included a safari trip and accommodation then you may want to split your review in to two sections. When reviewing the accommodation, be sure to talk about how helpful the staff were, cleanliness, food and overall value for money.
Reviewing the safari trip may be a little more difficult. If for example, you experienced really bad weather, then this is not in the hands of the safari tour guides and therefore you should not leave a bad review because of this. You should talk about the guides, the wildlife you had the opportunity to see, safety and also the organisation aspects of the trip.
