You’re bound to want to take plenty of photos whilst on safari and to get the most out of the snaps that you get there’s a few top tips to keep in mind.

Ensure your lens is clean, all that dusty sand can easily get caught on your camera lens so ensure you replace the lens cover between photos and if you get any debris on the lens very carefully wipe it with a specialist cloth to avoid scratching and damaging the lens.

Remember, safety first, yes you may have an opportunity for a great shot but you must always follow the instruction of your tour guide and if they say something is not safe then it’s really not worth the risk.

Back up all your photos each evening to some cloud storage, this way if anything should happen to your camera you will only lose the photos from that same day.
